Extinction Rebellion was born in the UK during the fall of 2018 and today they have branches in 56 countries. They are a leaderless, decentralized organization with an urgent message of action on the climate crisis. They have reinvigorated climate activism with a smart, theatrical, viral, inclusive and powerfully branded approach.

Natural Resources Defense Council

NRDC has led the charge of protecting our environment for nearly 50 years.  They target their efforts on the legal battles which shape the movement from the top down. They also have a wealth of material and research on how we can all personally engage with climate action.


350 is building a global grassroots climate movement that can hold our leaders accountable to the realities of science and the principles of justice. That movement is rising from the bottom up all over the world, and is uniting to create the solutions that will ensure a better future for all. Their online campaigns, grassroots organizing, and mass public actions bring together a global network active in over 188 countries.

Julie’s Bicycle is a London based charity that supports the creative community to act on climate change and environmental sustainability. They believe that the creative community is uniquely placed to transform the conversation around climate change and translate it into action.

Give Power

GivePower works at the nexus of renewable energy and clean water access — their recently completed solar powered desalination plant in Kiunga, Kenya makes 75,000 liters of seawater drinkable every day. In this way, they address both a source and effect of climate change.

Life of Releaf

LIFE OF RELEAF is an environmental campaign launched by Italian born multi-instrumentalist and classically trained vocalist & composer Francesca Lombardo. Partnered with non profit organisation One Tree Planted, the campaign aims to mobilise the dance music community into supporting global reforestation.

Bye Bye Plastic Foundation

Founded by DJ and producer Blond:ish, Bye Bye Plastic works to engage the electronic music community in eliminating single use plastic from nightlife. From beach cleanups to plastic free rider initiatives, BBP continue to engage high profile artists in spreading their mission.

Project Drawdown
