ELM is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that has been working to safeguard the air, lands, and waters of our Commonwealth for 110 years. Originally established as the Massachusetts Forestry Association in 1898, the organization increasingly broadened its scope of environmental advocacy, updating its name accordingly.
Today, ELM’s advocacy and collaboration efforts encompass climate issues, protection of habitats and species, land preservation, development of urban parks and other smart-growth planning, protection of water resources, and curtailing exposure to toxins in everyday living — the whole range of modern environmental issues that have an impact on our health and quality of life in Massachusetts.
Earth Night raises funds, membership, and awareness for the Environmental League of Massachusetts. We hope you will show your support by purchasing tickets, sponsoring, volunteering, or donating auction items. Thank you.
